The Department of Transport will be holding question and answer sessions for the boating public throughout this year’s Melbourne Boat Show to address changes in legislation.

Boat show patrons are invited to come along and take part in the information sessions that are part of an extensive statewide consultation program in relation to the Department of Transport’s review of the Marine Act 1988.

Sessions will take place in the hospitality suite on level 2 at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre and will run on Friday 3rd July from 2.30pm-4.30pm and 6.30pm- 8.30pm, Saturday 4th July 10.30pm-12.30pm, Sunday 5th July 10.30pm-12.30pm and Monday 6^th July 3pm to 5pm, and will focus on strengthening and reviewing Victoria’s marine safety laws with the aim of reducing death and injury on our waterways.
